It is with mixed emotions that the Board and Management of Marine Bioproducts CRC shares news of our CEO, Dr Justin Coombs, departing from our organisation at the end of April. Justin will be taking on an exciting new leadership role in the medical biotechnology industry, and we are thrilled for him as he embarks on this wonderful opportunity and new chapter in his career.
Justin has made an invaluable contribution, from playing a vital role in the successful bid in 2019 to establishing the CRC and nurturing its growth into a fully operational entity. His dedication, intellect and leadership have played a pivotal role in building a strong foundation for the organisation, complete with a diverse suite of industry and research partners. His vision and tireless efforts have positioned MBCRC for continued success in the future.
While we are extremely sad to bid farewell to Justin as our CEO, we are happy to announce that he will maintain an association with MBCRC through his new enterprise. We look forward to the ongoing collaboration and wish him every success in his future endeavours within the medical biotechnology industry.
