Our inaugural Research Director at MBCRC, Professor Wei Zhang, is transitioning into a new strategic advisory role to the MBCRC Board as Chief Science Advisor. In this new role, Wei will focus on participating in national and international fora in the marine bioproduct field, and providing high-level advice to the MBCRC Board on strategic research directions and global partnership opportunities for MBCRC.
We take this opportunity to thank Wei for his vision, initiative and drive for the success of the MBCRC bid, and his operational contribution to the establishment of the CRC during his time as Research Director. We look forward to continuing to work with him in his new strategic advisory role with the MBCRC Board.
