Tony Peacock has spent much of his career working across Cooperative Research Centres, industry research and applied science, with a particular interest in how research translates into practical industry outcomes. He holds a Bachelor of Agriculture (Honours) and a PhD in Veterinary Science from the University of Sydney and is a Fellow of both the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering (ATSE) and the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).
He has served as Chief Executive Officer of the CRC Association, the Invasive Animals CRC and the Pig Research and Development Corporation. In 2014, he was awarded a Churchill Fellowship to examine industry–university collaboration models internationally.
Tony is currently a Director of the Marine Bioproducts CRC and the Solutions for Antimicrobial Resistance in Agribusiness, Food and Environments (SAAFE) CRC. He also chairs the Australasian Pork Research Institute Limited and, through Peacock Consulting, works with a range of organisations on innovation strategy, governance and research–industry collaboration.
