Robert (Bo) Carne is a Bardi and Jabirr Jabirr man with extensive experience in Indigenous fisheries development, marine resource management, governance and business leadership. He is Co-Owner and Managing Director of Nalan Seafoods and Owner of Bo Carne Consultancy, supporting Indigenous participation and leadership across the seafood and marine sectors.
Bo has previously held senior roles within the Northern Territory Government, including in fisheries and Indigenous policy, and was the inaugural Chief Executive Officer of the Aboriginal Sea Company. He brings deep expertise in Indigenous-led economic development, fisheries management, Sea Country stewardship, collaborative governance and creating pathways for First Nations participation in marine industries to the Marine Bioproducts CRC First Nations Engagement Committee.
